Learning at CBS

Pirkei Avot (5:25) says about Torah:  “Turn it and turn it for everything is within it.”

The depth and breadth of Jewish tradition has no end.  Congregation Beth Shalom is a community devoted to lifelong learning - diverse and exciting opportunities for each individual to explore the beauty and richness of Jewish tradition. No matter your age or background, whether you are new to Judaism or have studied for years, Beth Shalom provides opportunities to deepen your knowledge and enliven your Jewish life.

In any given week, our building is filled with preschoolers learning the joy of Jewish holidays, Religious School and B’nai Mitzvah students gaining tools for Jewish living, teens exploring Jewish identity and adults discussing Jewish ethics and spirituality, history and sacred text.  Beth Shalom brings the joy of Jewish learning to every individual, strengthening our bonds of community and paving the way for a bright Jewish future.
